Job Description
The Associate Client Services Director (ACSD) will maintain client relationships including handling client issues and demands. The services for our clients include, but are not limited to, investment fund administration/accounting and financial statements preparation.
The ACSD will work in close collaboration with the Country Delivery Director to maintain the existing client portfolio and ensure that the revenues of the client portfolio grow, both in volume and in profitability.
The ACSD will act as the Checker before delivering work to clients and ensures compliance with Group and Company compliance policies as well as local regulatory frameworks.
Tasks
- Understand the clients’ needs to optimally align IQ-EQ’s service offering.
- Translate client requirements into IQ-EQ’s organization to ensure On Time and In Full delivery.
- Ensure that all IQ-EQ’s internal processes within the function are correctly executed to meet client promises and commitments.
- Provide high quality and billable advice to clients (hourly billing only), excluding regular client work.
- Train and coach team members working under supervision or on the client portfolio.
- Review deliverables from production teams on a risk-based approach, including investment fund administration and accounting reports, annual financial statements, interim financial statements, monthly management accounts, taxes, fact sheets, etc.
- For constitution adoption or amendment, obtain details from the client and agree on the fee quote after consultation with the Legal team if required.
- Work on complex assignments such as technical accounting matters, consolidations, restructuring, etc.
- Collaborate with the Country Delivery Director to ensure proper allocation of client/tasks to team members.
- Participate and provide input to the performance review and development plan of team members trained or coached.
- Ensure protection of information assets of IQ-EQ and abide by the ISMS in place at IQ-EQ.

- Maintain revenue from existing clients and cross-sell additional opportunities.

Qualifications
Education / Professional Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (SA)
- Minimum 4 years of managerial experience at IQ-EQ
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a similar role / global business sector
Managerial Skills
- Build strong foundations and connections within the team by communicating often and openly about successes and challenges.
- Experience in debtor management and understanding of client fee structures.
Technical Skills
- IFRS, US GAAP, Funds industry knowledge.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience with fund administration systems.
