Assistant Merchandiser - Fashion

They are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Merchandiser to join the team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring smooth stock management, providing data-driven insights, and supporting the product team to deliver excellence across all areas of the business.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

1. Oversee the accurate production of weekly, monthly, and seasonal stock and sales reports.
2. Contribute to seasonal strategy discussions, using sales data to guide product range selections during meetings.
3. Maintain and update merchandising summaries.
4. Take ownership of reviews and returns reports, presenting actionable insights to the wider team.
5. Ensure seamless end-of-season markdowns and price adjustments are reflected online and communicate updates across teams.
6. Coordinate product transfers, stock locations, and shipment samples, handling write-offs and adjustments as needed.
7. Support the Commercial Manager in the intake process, liaising with suppliers and partners to ensure timely shipments and accurate delivery schedules.
8. Serve as a point of contact for commercial trading events, including pop-ups, trade shows, and marketing activations.

Person Specification:

1. 1-2 years' experience at Senior MAA / Planner or Assistant Merchandiser level, within the fashion industry.
2. Advanced Excel skills.
3. Exceptional time management and the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
4. A sharp eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
5. A team player who is flexible and thrives in cross-departmental collaboration.
