Matric Certificate plus a National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent relevant qualification at National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 6 as recognised by South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
Minimum of 3 years relevant supervisory experience in the Supply Chain management environment.
Knowledge of Legislation, Regulations, Policies and Procedures governing Supply Chain Management in the public sector.
Working knowledge and experience of Basic Accounting System (BAS) and Logistical Information System (LOGIS).
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Oversee and improve the supply chain operations of the Regulator.
Coordinate and review the processing of requisitions for goods and services.
Proactively manage procurement, assets, contracts, inventory, logistics, and vendor relations in accordance with the relevant policy and procedures.
Render and monitor contract administration support service and compliance.
Coordinate the safekeeping and distribution of goods.
Coordinate the control of stock.
Coordinate the disposal of stock inventory.
Supervise employees to ensure an effective logistics and disposal management service and undertake all administrative functions required with regard to financial and HR administration.
Assist in managing all resources in the SCM Sub-Division.
