Our client in the Hospitality Industry, based in Addo, Eastern Cape, is looking for an Assistant Manager/Reservationist to join their team.

Accommodation available on site.

Requirements:

  • Matric.
  • Prior experience in hotel reservations, front desk operations, or hospitality management.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Leadership qualities with a team-oriented approach.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the hotel’s reservation system, ensuring accurate and efficient booking of rooms.
  • Handle guest inquiries, modifications, and cancellations via phone, email, and online.
  • Assist in front desk operations, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.
  • Welcoming and hosting guests.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Address guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support the management team with daily operations, staff supervision, and training initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, revenue reports, and occupancy rates.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
