Our client in the Hospitality Industry, based in Addo, Eastern Cape, is looking for an Assistant Manager/Reservationist to join their team.

Requirements:
- Matric.
- Prior experience in hotel reservations, front desk operations, or hospitality management.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Leadership qualities with a team-oriented approach.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the hotel’s reservation system, ensuring accurate and efficient booking of rooms.
- Handle guest inquiries, modifications, and cancellations via phone, email, and online.
- Assist in front desk operations, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.
- Welcoming and hosting guests.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Address guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Support the management team with daily operations, staff supervision, and training initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, revenue reports, and occupancy rates.
- Ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
