5* Game Lodge in the Grahamstown area is looking for an Assistant Lodge Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and gain experience in the ecotourism & hospitality sector.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily running of the Lodge operations.
Front of House.
F&B / Kitchen & Stock take duties.
Hosting of guests.
Foster a friendly & welcoming environment.
Ensure high levels of Guest satisfaction.
Kitchen & Bar Oversight, stock takes & ordering.
Ensure that excellent service standards are maintained.
Guest Liaison.
Staff Training.
Back up & relief for the General Manager.
Requirements:
At least 2-3 years previous experience in a similar hospitality role/environment.
Computer literacy skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans spoken and written.
Positive, enthusiastic attitude and sense of responsibility.
Reliable.
Honest.
Hard Working.
Prepared to go above and beyond when required.
Flexible and able to handle anything that gets thrown at them.
Strong in Food and Beverage background and kitchen experience would be preferable.
Strong and with experience in stock takes and inputting of stocks.
Strong personality.
Good interpersonal skills especially with staff and guests.
Very strong communication skills and fluent in English.
