Assistant Lodge Manager & Field Guide Couple | Eastern Cape

JD Specialized Recruitment is currently partnering with an exclusive 5* property in the Eastern Cape, to recruit an experienced and guest centric ASSISTANT LODGE MANAGER & FIELD GUIDE COUPLE to join their team.

Assistant Lodge Manager Requirements and Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or equivalent beneficial.
• It is imperative to have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a high-end based property.
• Sound knowledge of Lodge operations both BOH and FOH with exceptional eye for detail, guest centric and passion for delivering World Class Service.
• Experience in monitoring service standards and evaluating areas for improvement.
• Strong financial acumen, stock inventory and stock management skills essentials.
• Previous experience on PMS and POS systems essential
• Fine-Dining experience is non-negotiable.
• Strong leadership, delegation, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license is essential.

Field Guide Requirements and Experience:

• 2 years plus guiding experience at a 5* luxury property
• Would suite applicants with a keen interest in conservation activities.
• Completed Trails or Back-up Trails Highly preferred.
• FGASA Level 2 or Equivalent would be highly beneficial.
• ARH & Rifle proficiency / SAPS Competency Certificate
• Valid Driver’s license, PrDP and First Aid Level 2 essential
• CATHSSETA /DEAT Registered
• Physically fit, charismatic, and confident
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Stable employment history and contactable reference.
