Assistant Driver

Ciovita is a dynamic and innovative company passionate about delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. We’re seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Driver to join our logistics team and support our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods.
2. Ensure secure and safe packaging of cargo during transit.
3. Navigate and guide the driver along optimal routes when necessary.
4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
5. Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
6. Assist with administrative duties such as delivery paperwork and customer confirmations.
7. Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and updates.
8. At times you will be required to drive the company vehicle.

Requirements:

1. Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
2. Valid driver’s license (mandatory).
3. Proven experience in a similar role (preferred).
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy goods.
6. Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
7. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
