Asset and Resource Controller

Job Description:

• Daily support to regional managers and stock controllers, assisting with administrative tasks and coordination.
• Fleet controller: maintain vehicles and trailer asset registers, database and fleet management, analysis of tracker data.
• Asset controller: maintaining fixed asset registers, allocation of assets to specific regions, reporting on profitability of assets and operations efficiency.
• Capex adherence in accordance with company guidelines and maintenance of trackers.
• Check and reconcile living out allowances and ensure accuracy thereof.
• Check and verify overtime hours submitted against erected boxes.
• Maintain and reconcile Capital WIP account and revamp cost.

Qualifications:

• Matric/grade 12 essential.
• BComm degree in finance or related field.
• Exposure in a finance department would be advantageous.
• Pastel Evolution experience would be advantageous.
• Attention to detail.
• Pro-active and self-managing.
• Computer literate particularly using Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership abilities.
