Asset Administrator

Purpose Statement

To capture, import and maintain the distribution and movement of assets within IT.

Experience

At least 1 year experience in asset management within an IT environment.

Qualifications (Minimum)

Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

Knowledge

1. Min: Knowledge of Microsoft suite.
2. Ideal: Understanding and knowledge of IT equipment and hardware systems.
3. Knowledge of S-track or asset management system.

Skills

1. Communications Skills.
2. Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
3. Interpersonal & Relationship management Skills.
4. Planning, organising and coordination skills.
5. Attention to Detail.
