About the Role

As a Data Analyst I, you will analyze complex data sets to provide actionable insights. Your analytical skills will contribute to data-driven decision-making and business growth. Your work will directly impact strategic planning and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Defining the customer’s data problems (dashboards / reports / product analysis / KPI's).
2. Determining data plan and communicate with the team.
3. Identifying data sources (databases, files, interfaces) and data aggregations.
4. Creating specifications and work with data engineers to create ETL processes.
5. Cleaning data (data correction, normalization, standardization).
6. Creating reports and visualizations (create views and filters for data).
7. Using various data workflow management and analysis tools.

Requirements

1. Recently graduated or currently completing a bachelor’s in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, BCom or related field.
2. Have knowledge of various data types and formats, including but not limited to XML, flat files, delimited, etc.
3. Possess knowledge of data analysis tools and processes.
4. Display understanding of data modelling principles, data manipulation languages and storage systems.
