In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers and other team members to craft visually compelling and engaging designs that effectively communicate the client's vision.
You will be responsible for defining the overall strategy and visual direction of campaigns, ensuring they align with brand standards, while leading a team to deliver high-quality work across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Lead and develop creative concepts for various projects, including advertising campaigns, websites, branding, print collateral, social media, and other marketing materials.
- Ensure that visual elements are aligned with the overall brand vision, style guidelines, and client objectives.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and refine ideas, ensuring innovative solutions to design challenges.
- Oversee the design and execution of high-quality visuals across digital and print mediums.
- Create and present design mockups, storyboards, and prototypes for client approval.
- Ensure all visual assets are on-brand, consistent, and deliver on the intended message.
- Manage the overall design process, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
- Work closely with designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers, and other creatives to execute projects seamlessly.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior designers and other team members, fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure that project deadlines, budgets, and expectations are maintained.
- Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback and making revisions as necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision, needs, and goals.
- Work with clients to understand their brand, target audience, and messaging, translating that into compelling visual designs.
- Ensure all creative work is executed with attention to detail, and adheres to quality standards.
- Review and approve designs, layouts, and visual materials for consistency with brand guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the work remains fresh and innovative.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a designer, with at least 2-3 years in an Art Director role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your experience in creative direction, visual design, and conceptual development.
- 5+ years of digital agency experience.
- Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
- Experience with both print and digital media.
- Knowledge of web design, UX / UI principles, and motion graphics is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and team members.
