We are seeking an Area Coach for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

1. Com Business Management or Business-related tertiary qualification
2. 5+ years managerial experience in the fast food / restaurant industry
3. Valid driver’s license as travel is required
4. Good communication skills in English and MS Office literate
5. Good financial acumen and staff management experience

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Maintain and develop restaurants and ensure staffing levels are determined
2. Recommend / implement action plans
3. Formulate and implement Area Bench Plan
4. Ensure reporting and control compliance
5. Oversee prompt and appropriate resolution of complaints
6. Ensure internal security is at maximum level
7. Evaluate performance of management and oversee training and designated certification
8. Implement company programs
9. Maximize sales and profit
10. Direct restaurant operations and recommend wage and salary increases
11. Ensure recognition programs are in place and ensure employee relation compliance
12. Oversee training, personal development, and induction
13. Hold regular area meetings
14. Set and ensure achievement of clear restaurant goals
15. Manage controllable and variable expenses
16. Conduct periodic business reviews
17. Ensure marketing plan is in place and executed
18. Conduct regular coaching visits to restaurants
