Architectural Technologist

Hire Resolve is currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist with extensive experience as a Construction Manager to join a well-established Heritage construction company in Pretoria, South Africa.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee construction projects from conception to completion
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and subcontractors
• Oversee budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management of projects
• Supervise construction teams and monitor progress on site
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
• Ensure quality control and safety on construction sites
• Prepare progress reports and present project updates to stakeholders
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist or Construction Manager
• Strong knowledge of architectural design and construction processes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
• Excellent project management skills
• Good understanding of building codes and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Valid driver's license
• Relevant qualifications in Architecture, Construction Management or related field
• Experience in residential and commercial construction projects
