Reference: Pta-EP-2
Application Software Developer required for a leading digital communication systems company in Pretoria-East.

Minimum Requirements:

1. BSc (Computer Science) or BEng (Computer Engineering)
2. 0 - 5 years of relevant working experience
3. Good academic results
4. Strong interest in software development
5. Experience writing and debugging software in C++
6. Knowledge of the OSI stack paradigm and the functions of the various levels

Responsibilities:

1. Development of OSI Layer 4 to Layer 7 protocol software components
2. Development of end-user graphical user interface (GUI) software to be used with specialized communication systems
3. Developing software in accordance with relevant coding standards and specifications
