You will be an ideal candidate if you have the following:

1. Minimum: Diploma or required certification.
2. Preferred: Degree and/or relevant certification.
3. 5+ years experience, including at least 3 in a lead role.
4. Preferred: Banking Industry Experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders in order to achieve productivity synergies.
2. Ensure financial documentation is maintained to support accurate record keeping and future legislative requirements.
3. Escalate potential budget risks that may lead to increased costs or financial losses.
4. Present work proposals on planned activities that will require financial resources.
5. Allocate and approve expenditure.
6. Collate, analyse and evaluate data and information to forecast expenditure and cash flow trends and make recommendations to improve budget.

Technical Expertise:

1. Java Programming: Strong command of Java (preferably Java 8+), including object-oriented principles, concurrency, and best practices.
2. Spring Framework & Spring Boot: In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot for creating stand-alone, production-grade Spring-based applications.
3. Database & Persistence: Experience with SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
4. APIs & Integration: Designing and implementing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
5. DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with build pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
6. Security & Performance: Understanding of Spring Security and best practices for securing microservices and APIs.
7. Architecture & Design Patterns: Ability to design scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
