Job Description
The product controller will work in close contact with the Treasury front office and its traders, risk and valuation units, and have exposure to global market products (whether vanilla / flow products or more complex structured / exotic products), allowing the candidate to understand why and how a bank trades on a daily basis and how the treasury facilitates liquidity and risk management for the rest of the bank.

Minimum Qualifications
Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
Field of Study: Business Commerce, Finance and Accounting
Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Membership: CA (SA)

Experience Required
3-4 years experience in demonstrated ability to collaborate and build networks to solve a range of complicated problems and analysing possible solutions.
3-4 years experience in demonstrated ability to prepare ledgers and financial statements and perform other relevant accounting practices.
3-4 years experience in Product Control in a banking environment.
3-4 years experience in demonstrated track record using technical knowledge, logical data driven arguments to influence people and the right reporting outcome.
3-4 years experience in developing in-depth knowledge about the Finance Operations capability as a whole and/or in an area of specialisation, with growing knowledge of core products and business lines that are serviced.
