Agile Project Manager (Hybrid 12-month contract)

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the end-to-end activities of complex enterprise projects
• Develop and manage project plans, defining scope, strategy, staffing, schedules, risks, and contingency plans
• Lead hybrid delivery using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, depending on project needs
• Escalate impediments, manage risks, and help teams align on delivering value
• Engage cross-functional stakeholders to define and track deliverables and milestones
• Oversee financials: forecasting, burn rates, and budget tracking against business cases
• Champion Agile practices, while maintaining governance and regulatory alignment
• Facilitate decision-making, ensure clear documentation, and maintain strong reporting cadence
• Use data insights to guide strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement

What you will need to succeed

• 5+ years' experience in project/programme management, preferably in financial services
• Proven track record managing enterprise-scale projects and working with executive stakeholders
• Sound knowledge of Agile delivery (Scrum, SAFe, Lean) alongside traditional PM principles
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, compliance, and financial reportingwithin a bank
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to operate in a high-pressure, fast-paced corporate environment
• Strategic thinker who can also dive deep into delivery and execution
• Familiarity with Agile toolsets such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Project (MSP)
