Southern Cross Schools is a 4-term, co-educational independent day and boarding school located within a wildlife estate in Hoedspruit, Limpopo. We offer classes from Pre-school to Grade 12 and follow the national curriculum, culminating in the IEB Grade 12 examinations. As a member of ISASA, our school is deeply committed to education that integrates environmental awareness, using our beautiful natural surroundings as a key learning tool.

We need a passionate, motivated, and suitably qualified individual to join our team as an Afrikaans Prep School educator.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND CRITERIA:

• A recognised and relevant teaching qualification (B.Ed./PGCE/National Diploma).
• Valid SACE registration and proof of qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Afrikaans FAL.
• Proficient in Afrikaans and English (language of instruction) both spoken and written.
• Ability to teach additional subjects may be required.
• A valid driver’s licence. A PrDP is required.
