What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for an Admissions Counsellor to spearhead the recruitment of high-calibre students into world-class educational programmes. This role demands a consultative, proactive, analytical approach combined with an uncanny ability to understand and resolve complex challenges. Your contributions will directly impact our bottom line, making your role a cornerstone of our success. With the primary focus being UK business hours, flexibility and adaptability are required to engage with an international student base.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Develop and execute comprehensive outreach strategies to attract prospective students from around the globe.
- Utilise an array of digital communication channels - live chat, emails, telephonic conversations, and other emerging platforms - influencing prospective students’ decisions.
- Adopt a consultative approach to assess the alignment of applicant profiles and aspirations with program objectives and admission criteria, focusing on maximising conversion rates.
- Drive and lead continuous engagement cycles with prospective students, ensuring successful application completion and enrolment which directly correlates to revenue generation.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our evolving program portfolio and university collaborations, using this knowledge to maximise recruitment effectiveness and revenue impact.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, ensuring a smooth admissions journey that translates into positive financial outcomes for 2U.
- Uphold and enhance the brand integrity and reputation of our esteemed University Partners through every interaction.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
- 5+ years of experience in Strategic- or Consultative Sales (Prior experience in Edtech is highly advantageous).
- Demonstrated success in a metrics-driven, revenue-focused role.
- Exceptional command over verbal and written English.
- Proficiency in computing and CRM tools.
