Role SummaryThe role of Administrator will provide a high standard of administrative support to the occupational health service. The ability to cope with a busy office environment and varied workload is required and accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Effective and efficient people skills are a vital part of the role. The post holder will ensure that all Occupational Health data is cleansed and up to date in line with GDPR regulations, as well as assisting in the efficient running of the clinics in the office.
Main Duties And Responsibilities- To identify all hard and electronic medical records and define their retention period in line with the data retention policy.
- To have knowledge of procedures and protocols.
- To scan and upload any outstanding data from clinicians onto the relevant systems.
- Work under own direction to ensure data is processed efficiently and in line with the data cleansing guidelines.
- To perform reception duties within the clinic.
- To perform all tasks and duties when required providing flexibility within a team working environment.
- Carry out special projects, as directed by senior management.
- To process the incoming and outgoing post for the office.
Required Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required for the Role:- 2 years administration experience.
- Effective communication and people skills.
- Excellent IT skills, MS Office literacy and experience of database management.
- Knowledge of Access to Medical Records Act, Data Protection Act and Information Governance would be desirable but full training will be given.
