The Mobility Department, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide training to all provincial users of the National Traffic Information System (NaTIS), supervise and coordinate the activities of the division responsible for the auditing of transactions performed by internal NaTIS users, and perform duties of user acceptance testing. This individual must have the ability to work under pressure, willingness to work irregular hours, meet tight deadlines, and regularly travel away from the office.
An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years relevant NaTIS and administrative experience; A valid code B or higher driving license, or alternative mode of transport for people with disabilities.
Certificate in Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices (ODETD).
Knowledge of the following: National Road Traffic Act, 1996 (Act 93 of 1996) and the National Road Traffic Regulations, 2000; National and Provincial NaTIS Security Policy; National Traffic Information System (NaTIS); Skills in the following: Numeracy; Computer Literacy; Language skills; Project Management; Accounting, Finance and Audit; Economic, Financial and Statistical Analysis; Presentation; Legal Administration; Proven Facilitation skills; People Management.
R376 413 per annum (Salary level 8)
