ADMINISTRATION MANAGER (Durban, KZN)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assessing staff performance, attendance and provide guidance
  2. Planning, coordinating administrative procedures and systems including training
  3. Payroll Administration staff additions/termination schedule, leave, salary deductions, etc.
  4. Ensure accurate and timeous cash-ups, banking and related procedures
  5. Plan and administer bi-annual stock counts
  6. Approval of stock adjustments
  7. Preparation of branch budget and monitoring actual expenditure
  8. Review of system reports daily and investigation of discrepancies
  9. Management and review of suspense accounts
  10. Verifying EFT transactions
  11. Overseeing stock ordering, inter-branch transfers
  12. Manage and control of petty cash and stationery
  13. Approval of purchase orders and other documentation
  14. Review of documents prior to submission to Head Office for payment (creditors and customer refunds)
  15. Ensure a smooth workflow of all administrative processes
  16. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  17. Overseeing Debtors Administration

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Grade 12
  2. Tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) in Finance
  3. 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role
  4. Experience working in a retail/wholesale environment (essential - not negotiable)
  5. Be fully computer literate with experience working on Accounting software packages
  6. Willing to work: Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00, alternate weekends (every 2nd weekend) Saturdays 08h00 to 15h00 & Sunday 09h00 to 14h00).

RUMUNERATION
