Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage all health, safety, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) aspects for the business.
  2. Maintain and update in-house factory health and safety (H&S) standards.
  3. Enforce all H&S policies and procedures.
  4. Develop and implement new H&S policies as required.
  5. Communicate with client and site safety officers to draft site-specific safety files.
  6. Ensure all staff documentation is current and properly maintained.
  7. Prepare and distribute monthly H&S reports.
  8. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
  9. Implement health and safety training for all employees.
  10. Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
  11. Manage quality assurance processes to meet both internal standards and customer expectations.
  12. Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory bodies.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  2. Professional certification in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
  3. Minimum of years of experience in a SHEQ management role.
  4. Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
  5. Knowledge of SHEQ methodologies and regulations in Australia.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to develop and implement effective SHEQ policies and procedures.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SHEQ management software.
