Job Title: Administration and Internal Sales

Job Summary:

A company based in Springfield Park (Durban) in the Printing Sector is looking for an Internal Sales Administrator with strong customer service skills to work and report to the Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Send Quotes: Send out quotes for products and services based on customer requirements and pricing guidelines. Ensure timely delivery of quotes to customers.
  2. Customer Sales Support: Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries related to quotes and sales requests. Provide detailed information and clarify any aspects of the quotes or estimates as needed.
  3. Follow-Up on Sales Leads: Proactively follow up on sent quotes and sales requests to engage with potential and existing customers. Track responses, address any additional questions, and encourage conversion to confirmed sales.
  4. Coordinate with Sales and Production Teams: Work closely with internal teams to stay updated on product availability, lead times, and any changes in pricing. Ensure all estimates and quotes reflect current production capacity and capabilities.
  5. Maintain Sales Documentation and Records: Accurately log and manage customer interactions, quotes, and follow-ups in the sales tracking system. Ensure that all sales documentation is up to date and accessible for the sales team.
  6. Monitor and Report Sales Activities: Provide regular updates on the status of quotes, sales leads, and conversion rates. Highlight any trends or opportunities to the sales team to aid in strategic decision-making.
  7. Assist in Improving Sales Processes: Identify opportunities to streamline quoting, estimating, and follow-up processes. Collaborate with the team to implement improvements that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
  2. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
  3. Experience in quoting and estimating.
