Remote Insurance Administrative Assistant

Hours: Full-Time | 3 PM 11 PM EST (US Hours)

We are seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented Insurance Administrative Assistant to provide remote support to an insurance professional. This role involves customer service, administrative coordination, and case management from the initial inquiry to policy issuance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-sufficient, and capable of managing tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Handle customer inquiries, manage schedules, and ensure smooth application processing.
Sales Process Coordination: Track and oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to policy issuance.
Application Management: Notify the assistant team of new sales, complete necessary documentation, and submit applications to underwriting.
Technical Assistance: Assist with PowerPoint presentations and other computer-based tasks as needed.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all client documentation is accurate, properly submitted, and compliant with industry regulations.
Independent Task Management: Work efficiently without requiring constant supervision, demonstrating diligence and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in insurance administration (life and health insurance preferred).
Strong technical proficiency, including expertise in PowerPoint and office applications.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and application submissions.
