About The Job

Next Careers is a job site that advertises jobs, but this job is with Next Careers, and you will be employed by Next Careers on a permanent basis working on a hybrid model (2 days in the office and 3 days from home) as an Admin Assistant to the Office Manager. You will need a Fibre line, and Next Careers will provide a laptop and cellphone.


Core Duties And Responsibilities

  • Clerical Support:
  • Answering and screening phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
  • Drafting and typing letters, reports, and other business documents.
  • Maintaining and updating records, files, and databases.
  • Managing and organizing physical and digital files.
  • Preparing and distributing meeting minutes and agendas.
  • Filing and retrieving documents.
  • Proofreading and editing documents.

Scheduling And Coordination

  • Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and booking meetings.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Preparing presentations and reports.

Office Management

  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies.
  • Greeting visitors and providing information.
  • Assisting with data entry and other clerical tasks.
  • Handling correspondence, including emails and mail.
  • Ensuring that the office is organized and well-maintained.

Other

  • Assisting other staff members with administrative tasks.
  • Following data protection guidelines when handling information.
  • May also be responsible for taking inventory of office supplies and communicating with vendors to order supplies as needed.
