DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Operations to join our team.

In this role, you will be serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Sales Operations, contributing to the optimization of our sales processes and strategies across the marketplace team. You will be responsible for defining and owning sales process optimization for new and existing account management teams. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator (both written and verbal) and experienced planner, that has demonstrated the ability to drive cross-organizational strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, and knows how to get things done. This position is office-based, 5 days a week, from January.

Key job responsibilities:

  1. Manage sales processes, systems, and procedures
  2. Analyze sales data to identify trends and forecast sales
  3. Onboard and train new sales team members
  4. Identify opportunities to improve the business for all sellers through scalable solutions and manage the roll-out of these solutions
  5. Conduct deep dives to understand root causes of seller performance and actions to accelerate growth
  6. Work closely with teams to identify growth opportunities
  7. Identify and manage projects to improve customer and seller experience, working closely with internal and external teams
  8. Own the strategy and provide insights and best practices to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness across the team
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline sales processes and implement data-driven strategies
  10. Provide account managers with tools to conduct regular business reviews with clients, presenting performance metrics and growth opportunities
  11. Contribute to the development and refinement of sales operations tools and methodologies
  12. Partner with multiple teams on the definition and tracking of SOPs within our CRM tool
  13. Own sales data hygiene and address data quality and integrity issues

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor's degree
Experience in sales operations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

E-commerce experience
Project management experience
