Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Financial Specialist to join our finance team. This role will focus on invoice collection, billing collection, and data entry to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Invoice Collection:
    1. Monitor and manage outstanding invoices, ensuring timely collection from clients or customers.
    2. Communicate effectively with clients to follow up on overdue invoices.
    3. Track and reconcile payments to ensure accurate records.
  2. Billing Collection:
    1. Prepare and send out billing statements to clients on a regular schedule.
    2. Address any billing inquiries or disputes from clients.
    3. Process incoming payments, applying them accurately to accounts receivable.
  3. Data Entry:
    1. Enter financial data into accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    2. Maintain up-to-date customer and payment information in the financial database.
    3. Support the preparation of financial reports, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
  4. General Administrative Support:
    1. Assist with other accounting tasks as needed, such as preparing financial statements, assisting with audits, and supporting month-end or year-end close processes.
    2. Maintain organized records and files for easy access and retrieval.

Qualifications:

  1. Education:
    1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.
  2. Experience:
    1. Previous experience in accounting, billing, or data entry is preferred.
    2. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is an advantage.
  3. Skills & Competencies:
    1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    2. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
