Responsibilities

• Payment run – Checking of payment run information, submission of payments to relevant banks and cashflow calculations
• Month-end closure – Relevant procedure required to ensure a quality month-end closure, including cost re-allocations and cost centre reports
• Interim and year-end closure – Compile reports for input into interim and year-end financial statements, templates and tax packs
• Audits – Assistance with the answering and closing out of audit queries and findings
• Invoice verification – Scrutinize supplier invoices for validity and SARS compliance and capture on SAP/scan through to GSS to capture on SAP
• Reconciliation of Statements – Cross reference of supplier statements versus vendor line items and clearing of GRIR open items
• Application for Credit – apply for credit to open an account and updating of data
• Management of accounts payable accounts and accounts receivable accounts (including renewing of lease agreements) in collaboration with GSS
• Assistance – Assistance is provided pro-actively or when needed or asked for by the Commercial Advisor or other team members
• Safe and healthy work environment - Adherence to all safety and health standards and promote good housekeeping on an ongoing basis

Qualification

Grade 12 / NCV 4 (NQF 4/10) with Accounting

Experience and Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience
• Valid Driver’s license Code 08/EB
• Computer Literate, MS Office, SAP
• Experience in a financial role is essential
