Job Description

As a Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in the Finance team, ensuring quality, integrity, and accuracy in financial transactions while supporting business planning and performance reporting. You will work closely with the Midstream Finance and DBCM Finance teams to drive operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Control

1. Oversee period-end close schedules, including General Ledger (GL) processing and reconciliations
2. Maintain GL master data
3. Support external audits by providing necessary financial reports and documentation

Planning & Analysis

1. Contribute to long-term business planning
2. Coordinate budgets and forecasts
3. Prepare management reports with insightful financial analysis
4. Support costing of projects, products, and services

Governance, Risk & Compliance

1. Maintain relationships with stakeholders and auditors
2. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and accounting standards
3. Review business processes to identify risks and areas for improvement
4. Maintain contract, compliance, and policy registers

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Desirable)
2. Professional Accounting Certification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)

Experience & Skills

1. 10+ years of solid management accounting experience (preferably with audit experience)
2. Strong knowledge of financial and management reporting
3. Experience handling all aspects of finance administration
4. Technical accounting expertise and understanding of statutory reporting
5. Knowledge of taxation and transfer pricing
6. Proficiency in SAP and HFM (Highly Desirable)
7. Experience working with cross-functional teams
8. Familiarity with project management tools
9. Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities

1. Strong commercial acumen and business understanding
2. Excellent communication skills (able to explain complex financial concepts clearly)
3. Attention to detail and quality assurance
4. Analytical mindset with a proactive attitude
5. Capable of using initiative and working independently or in a team
