Description

Our client specializes in providing psychometric assessment solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. They seek an experienced Account Manager in South Africa to contribute to their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish relationships with senior HR executives in medium and large enterprise businesses to drive sales outcomes in South Africa.
  2. Present tailored solutions that align with each potential client's unique business context and goals.
  3. Achieve annual booking targets by maintaining consistent quarterly pacing and successful delivery.
  4. Explore new leads among potential prospects, both proactively and responsively, within the assigned account territory. Additionally, initiate personal outreach efforts to engage key prospects.
  5. Collaborate with the regional sales team and cross-functional peers to support knowledge sharing and develop best practices.
  6. Develop and own a customized Business Development plan.
  7. Access new prospects within our target Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to expand our customer base.
  8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  9. Work closely with the local SDR to create account plans that address individual client needs.
  10. Collaborate with the customer marketing team to ensure campaign alignment with customer needs.
  11. Offer valuable customer insights to inform product development of a best-in-class solution.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses:

  1. A background in Psychology or HR, which would be beneficial.
  2. Familiarity with and experience selling to the mid-market segment.
  3. Excellent communication skills, particularly with C-level executives in virtual settings.
  4. Familiarity with selling to professional decision-makers in both mid-sized and large organizations.
  5. Exceptional proficiency in utilizing Salesforce CRM, including effective forecasting.
  6. Documented success in selling SaaS solutions.
  7. Adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  8. Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  9. Deal management and accurate forecasting.
  10. Business and commercial acumen.
  11. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation Package:

  • Base salary between R480 000 - R525 400 per annum.
  • Commission plan with OTC of 75% of base.
