Job title: Account Executive - Fine Fragrance

Job Summary

  • As an Account Executive, you will develop and manage your account strategy and commercial relationship for the assigned account(s) in the Fine Fragrance industry.
  • You will manage all aspects of the selling process, developing key relationships with customers at all levels and functions, as well as with key influencers. You must develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business and identify opportunities for growth. Additionally, you will provide office-based admin support to the commercial sales team (Account Managers & team leaders) and serve as a critical point of contact for both internal and external customers within the region.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with Global team members, internal stakeholders, and customers across the region, while centering activities on customer focus, meeting deadlines, and ensuring efficiency in day-to-day tasks. This challenging role requires a hands-on, independent self-starter who is experienced, has a strong drive for results, excellent organizational skills, strict adherence to deadlines, and the ability to work in a high-paced environment. These attributes will help you become a successful member of the diverse and dynamic Fine Fragrance team.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Be accountable for your account strategy, action plan, and project pipeline required to grow and expand the business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business and growth objectives.
  • Meet sales and profit goals.
  • Sampling: Loading of sample requests into the IFF systems.
  • Managing samples: Includes but is not limited to packing, booking, and shipping of samples.
  • Quotations: Generate system quotations and send to Account Managers or customers as needed.
  • Documentation support: Provide and manage IFF documentation & customer questionnaires as requested via IFF Systems.
  • Project uploads, maintenance & support.
  • Price maintenance & support.
  • Liaise with various internal departments to provide accurate feedback and support to the customer and account managers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven business development and/or account management experience in the Fine Fragrances field is advantageous.
  • Strong commercial background and demonstrated competency in sales, marketing, or business development roles.
  • Deep understanding of business growth processes and portfolio management.
  • Experience in sales/retail/business development jobs.
