Cold Calling Sales Representative Event Business Fairs
USA Business Hours: 3pm to 11pm (SA Times)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Cold Calling Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling booth space at business fairs and networking events. Your primary focus will be generating leads, making outbound sales calls, and securing exhibitors for our events. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound cold calls to potential exhibitors, promoting available booth spaces at business fairs.
Identify and qualify leads through research and effective prospecting strategies.
Clearly communicate the value and benefits of participating in our events.
Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing exhibitors.
Overcome objections and negotiate to close sales effectively.
Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, calls, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Collaborate with the events team to ensure smooth onboarding and participation of exhibitors.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor events.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, cold calling, or telemarketing, preferably in the event or exhibition industry.
Strong communication and persuasion skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to exceed targets.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle objections and turn prospects into clients.
Experience using CRM software is a plus.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
