Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced ABAP Developer with expertise in SAP Transportation Management (TM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP XPS (eXternal Parcel Service) and PXPS (Parcel XPS) tools, as well as strong ABAP development skills to support and enhance our transportation and logistics processes. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Develop, customize, and enhance SAP TM functionalities using ABAP, including user exits, BAdIs, BAPIs, and enhancement frameworks.
2. Work extensively with SAP XPS and PXPS tools to optimize parcel and freight transportation processes.
3. Design and implement interfaces between SAP TM and third-party logistics providers.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP TM, XPS, PXPS, and integration components.
5. Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
6. Support configuration and integration of SAP TM with SAP S / 4HANA to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency.
7. Optimize SAP performance by analyzing and refining ABAP programs and SQL queries.
8. Develop and maintain documentation for technical specifications, custom developments, and system configurations.
9. Participate in SAP upgrades, patches, and enhancement projects related to transportation management.
10. Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality of delivered solutions.
11. Provide ongoing support and maintenance of SAP TM and related transportation modules.

Required Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including hands-on experience with enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
3. Proven experience working with SAP Transportation Management (TM).
4. Strong knowledge of SAP XPS and PXPS tools for parcel and freight management.
5. Experience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services for system integration.
6. Knowledge of SAP enhancement techniques such as User Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework.
7. Ability to debug and analyze issues in SAP TM and related modules.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 development for SAP TM.
2. Knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA and its impact on SAP TM and ABAP development.
3. Experience with performance tuning of ABAP programs.
4. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools for SAP development.
