Job Summary

Responsible for the achievement of Territory Sales Quota, manage and develop customer base, control expenses while contributing to ZOLL's profitability. Cover assigned territory promoting products to the pre-hospital (EMS) market, including fire departments, ambulance services, Military and Hospital markets.

Essential Functions

  1. Achieve sales hardware and disposable sales quotas assigned
  2. Maintain short range and long-term plans for developing sales in the assigned territory, including an annual business plan
  3. Uncover new business opportunities and maintain an adequate pipeline of potential sales to meet territory sales expectations
  4. Provide required in-service education to customers
  5. Ensure proper technical scope review has been conducted prior to sale
  6. Maintain organized account records, including account profiles in the company CRM, Salesforce.com
  7. Provide various reports as required by management, including weekly expense reports, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and regular activity reporting
  8. Maintain and track demo and evaluation inventory, documenting use in Salesforce.com, and ensure equipment is presented in good working order
  9. Spend an average of 3 days per week working in the field
  10. Other projects as assigned


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  1. College degree preferred
  2. 5+ years of related sales experience required or ZOLL experience required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  1. Knowledge of ZOLL and competitive products
  2. Strategic and customer-oriented selling skills
  3. Professional and ethical behavior and character
  4. Organizational/Territory Time Management skills
  5. Good interpersonal and communication skills
  6. Basic technical and clinical knowledge to speak competently about ZOLL products
  7. Intermediate computer skills


Physical Demands

  1. Ability to lift 25 lbs.
