Job description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer III to develop structural analysis and design deliverables, engineering design criteria, and specifications for foundations, concrete, and steel structures on various sized projects. You will prepare structural analysis and design for industrial facilities including process equipment foundations, buildings, dynamic and rotating equipment, open structures, pipe racks, and modifications to existing facilities. This role requires providing discipline administrative and supervisory functions on assigned projects, including the development of discipline scope documents, engineering budgets, schedules, associated staffing plans, and management of assigned staff.

Hard Skills
  • Experience in effective project execution and project procedures
  • Familiarity with ACI, AISC, IBC, and ASCE codes and standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Proficiency in one or more structural analysis software packages (RISA or preferred)
  • Ability to work in AutoCAD and Bluebeam
  • Experience using Revit is a plus
Soft Skills
  • Exhibits technical breadth and depth in structural engineering
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and lead project completion

Job Type: This is a 9 month contract to hire position.

Work Site: This is a fully remote position. The position could require both office and on-site work, with potential supervisory responsibilities over assigned staff.
