What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models as services in software systems to meet business goals
- Collaborate with development teams to test and deploy machine learning models
- Monitor the performance of deployed models and update or retrain models as needed
- Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning
- Mentor associate and intermediate software engineers as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- 5 years of proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
- 5 years in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- 5 years of understanding of web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, JSON
- 5 years in defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- At least 3 years of experience in developing and deploying enterprise-scale machine learning solutions
- Proficiency in deploying machine learning algorithms as production-ready API services
- Experience developing and debugging in Python for AI/ML services using frameworks like Flask or FastAPI
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
- Willingness to stay up to date on new ML/AI technologies
