Faculty Practice Plane Services (FPPS) has an outstanding opportunity for a SENIOR PRACTICE ADVISOR (Health Program Operations Specialist (E S 9)).

WORK SCHEDULE

  • POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

    The Senior Practice Advisor works in collaboration with UWP’s key partners to provide practice analysis for member physicians’ clinical practice. This role serves as a liaison between the physicians and UWP’s medical center partners. Leads and/or participates in critical system initiatives to implement planning to create value and meet the strategic goals of the clinical departments and FPPS.


    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Monitor the revenue cycle performance of each Department, performing analysis to identify Departmental or individual provider performance or reimbursement trends.
    • Use critical thinking and collaboration to bring outstanding issues to resolution or to create new, more efficient workflows to hardwire improvements.
    • Partner and build relationships between UWP and the Clinical Department, demonstrating a keen understanding of the specific business lines provided within each Department and Division.
    • Coordinate with UWP operational departments to troubleshoot issues and resolve inquiries by their assigned Clinical Departments.
    • Make decisions creating value for revenue cycle operations and FPPS priorities requiring interpretation of assigned clinical department strategies, regulatory guidelines, policies, procedures, or project parameters.
    • Serve as liaison between UWP and assigned Clinical Departments, working with the Chairs, Vice Chair of Finance and Administration, and Associate Administrators of Finance to ensure optimal revenue cycle/financial performance.
    REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
    • 5 years experience working as a Practice Advisor OR 5 years of Revenue Cycle experience.
