The People Growth Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of Maximus. This role will support the development of clear innovative people responses to our bids, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work closely with the growth and operational bid teams to ensure the people responses to bids are high achieving to give Maximus the greatest opportunity of success. This role will work with stakeholders in the growth and bid team, social value, recruitment, T&D and operations. The role will understand the overarching Maximus strategy and how the people team can respond to these ensuring our bids meet the requirements of the commissioner and the Maximus values.
Salary range: £50,000 to £60,000
- Partnering:
- Understand Maximus' strategic growth model and operational model to ensure the responses to bids are aligned.
- Understand the innovation and technology capabilities within areas of excellence that can be used to demonstrate added value in people responses in bids.
- Work with current suppliers (incumbents) to ensure transfer of colleagues is seamless.
- Work with HRSC to ensure set up of people data for colleagues transferring is seamless ensuring appropriate system access at point of transfer.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Provide updates on progress of bids.
- Review ELI and TUPE data, identify risks e.g., pension liability, attrition, absence.
- Understand resource requirements and ensure appropriate tracking in place to deliver contractual requirements.
- Standardisation:
- Support the People Lead - growth in creating a people bid library of standard mobilisation / integration plans, TUPE approach, clarifying questions, etc.
- Project Management:
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously ensuring appropriate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Technological Enablement:
- Ensure all activities focus on technological enablement, assisting managers to self-serve resources where possible using available tools and platforms.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in HR, People Business partner or similar role.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with senior leadership and influence decision making.
- Experience of using data to inform and support key decision making.
- Experience of managing organisational change and transformation.
- Understanding of talent management, succession planning, and performance management processes.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and deliver results.
- Familiarity with HR technology and data analytics to improve people strategies.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.
- Comfortable working in an agile way to support requirements of the business.
- Ability to be curious and work with relevant teams to ensure organisational success.
