Job description

This position is in Waterbury, a suburban Connecticut community with easy access to upscale Litchfield County and its many fine eateries, vineyards, and antiquing opportunities. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the town sits just outside the renowned ivy-league coastal area of Connecticut. New York City, NY, Hartford, CT, and Boston, MA, are all comfortable drives away.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Now docs needed for this employed position
  • Primarily doing medication management and evaluations
  • Monday through Friday work schedule; 20 hours per week with the option to be fully remote
  • Addictions experience is a plus; general adult population
  • Treat individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have certification to practice addiction psychiatry
  • Have the ability to prescribe Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) or have a data waiver
  • Must have an active Connecticut medical license
