Paralegal

Job Description

We are seeking a paralegal to become part of our litigation team. The primary area of practice is first party property insurance as well as tort litigation involving the LA wildfires. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

1. Draft client fee agreements for various types of suits
2. Obtain and organize client documentation
3. Assist with drafting legal documents
4. Maintain file organization
5. E-Filing
6. Keep track of all case related deadlines
7. Assist with written discovery
8. Assist with developing client victim impact videos
9. Record and store client information

Qualifications:

1. Must be trustworthy and self-motivated - able to work remotely
2. Previous experience as a paralegal or in another legal field
3. Familiarity with drafting various litigation related documents
4. Must be confident when communicating with clients
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Deadline and detail-oriented
