This position requires 100% travel. (Leave your home base on Monday and return home on Friday every week.) Opportunity to live almost anywhere in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific Time zones near a major airport.

What you will do in this role:

  • Responsible for the total operation of the acute rehabilitation program, working directly with the Area Director of Operations
  • Plans, directs and coordinates program activities to ensure that company and client goals are met
  • The authority to extend offers of employment and to dismiss from employment, pending approval from the Area Director of Operations
  • Demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, census development, Key Performance Indicator improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion
  • Be accountable for carrying out all responsibilities in accordance with Lifepoint Health CORE values

Minimum Requirements:

  • The job requires 90-100% travel
  • Clinicians (RN, PT, OT, SLP) are required
  • A track record of successful management experience in a health or human services setting and/or an extensive acute rehabilitation background combined with strong interpersonal and organizational skills is necessary
  • Experience working with a geriatric disabled population is desirable
  • Must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to implement change quickly and effectively
