About Polygon Labs

Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the Agglayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the Agglayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Polygon Miden, which is in development as well as Polygon CDK.

Your Role

We are searching for a marketing campaign expert with a strong understanding of web3 and DeFi to join our Growth Marketing team.

As a Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll own marketing for Polygon DeFi, driving high-impact campaigns, staying ahead of industry narratives, and identifying strategic growth opportunities. You’ll manage the campaign funnel end-to-end, have a knack for targeting both users and developers, and build a reputation for consistently delivering impactful campaigns.

The ideal candidate isn’t just a DeFi native. They’re DeFi obsessed, a liquidity maxi, and yield scouting wizard. Most importantly, they’re excited about growing a community of power users and developers on a new DeFi-focused chain at the beating heart of the Agglayer.

Your Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end marketing for Polygon DeFi, staying ahead of industry narratives and identifying growth opportunities to build the most impactful marketing funnel in the industry.
• Create growth campaigns and content plans for Polygon DeFi tech, including social, incentivized campaigns, KOLs, and ecosystem announcements, targeting both users and developers.
• Collaborate with a dream team across content, design, social, BD, product, and ecosystem projects to coordinate execution.
• Be data obsessed, using insight to evolve our approach to marketing campaigns and driving continuous improvement week to week.
• Stay ahead of the latest trends and narratives in web3 and DeFi, and translate them into resonant strategies and messages both in marketing and with our ecosystem.
• Work with the other growth brand leads to support growth marketing initiatives for Polygon protocols like the Agglayer and Polygon PoS.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience (3+ years) in brand marketing or go-to-market roles in web3, preferably with a focus on DeFi.
• Deep understanding of DeFi ecosystems and a demonstrated ability to create impactful campaigns that engage DeFi developers and users.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bonus: Experience managing campaigns, partner marketing, paid acquisition, or brand marketing for web3 protocols or DeFi projects.
