DevSecOps Engineer with TS/SCI clearance

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance in Herndon, VA to join our team at Prominent Edge. We are a small, stable, growing company that believes in doing things right. Required Skills

1. US Citizen with a TS/SCI clearance, CI Poly eligible
2. Minimum of 8 years of total experience to include a minimum of 1 years of web or software development experience.
3. Experience automating the provisioning of environments by designing, implementing, and managing configuration and deployment infrastructure as code solutions.
4. Experience delivering scalable solutions utilizing Amazon Web Services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, Message Queues, and CloudFormation Templates.
5. Experience with deploying and administering Kubernetes on AWS or GCP or Azure.
6. Capable of designing secure and scalable solutions.
7. Strong *nix administration skills.
8. Development in a Linux environment using Bash, Powershell, Python, JS, Go, or Groovy
9. Experience automating and streamlining build, test, and deployment phases for continuous integration
10. Experience configuring and deploying logging and monitoring services - fluentd, logstash, GeoHashes, etc.
11. Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab
12. Experience with DockerHub or a container registry
13. Experience with building and deploying containers to a production environment
14. Strong knowledge of security and recovery from a DevOps perspective.

Bonus Skills

1. Experience with RabbitMQ and administration.
2. Experience with kops.
3. Experience with HashiCorp Vault, administration, and Goldfish; frontend Vault UI.
4. Experience with helm for deployment to Kubernetes.
5. Experience with CloudWatch.
6. Experience with Ansible and/or a configuration management language.
7. Experience with Ansible Tower; not necessary.
8. Experience with VPNs; OpenVPN preferable.
9. Experience with network administration and understanding network topology and architecture.
10. Experience with AWS spot instances or Google preemptible.
11. Experience with Grafana administration, SSO (okta or jumpcloud preferable), LDAP / Active Directory administration, CloudHealth or cloud cost optimization.
12. Experience with Kubernetes-based software - example - heptio/ark, ingress-nginx, anchore engine.
13. Familiarity with the ELK Stack
14. Familiarity with basic administrative tasks and building artifacts on Windows
15. Familiarity with other cloud infrastructures such as Cloud Foundry
16. Strong web or software engineering experience
17. Familiarity with security clearances in case you contribute to our non-commercial projects.
