An established industry player is seeking a dedicated risk management professional to join their team in a remote capacity. Overview: This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: AL, AR, CT, DE, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MN, MS, MT, NC, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, UT, VA, VT, WV. This position reports to the First Line Risk Leader within the Strategy Function and is a first line of defense risk professional responsible for support and execution of various risk programs and Corporate Real Estate risk activities in adherence with the Company’s Risk Appetite and Corporate Strategy.
This role is responsible for engaging with the Corporate Real Estate department including Workplace Operations, Facilities Maintenance, Development and Portfolio Administration, Critical Facilities, and Corporate Security in management of risks and controls across all risk types, facilitating and/or monitoring execution of risk policies, procedures and/or program requirements, providing advisory to effectively manage risks, and serving as an effective communication channel between the Risk Management Department, regulators, and FCB business units.
The incumbent will assist with execution of first line risk management and associated deliverables for the Corporate Real Estate department, including but not limited to: Risk Control Self Assessments, management of Self-Identified Issues, MRID program, and Key Risk Indicators. In addition, this position will contribute to ongoing risk-related reporting.
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years’ experience in Financial Services, First Line Risk, Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk OR High School Diploma or GED with 10 years in Financial Services, First Line Risk, Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk.
Preferred qualifications: Experience supporting Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, Physical Security, etc. Experience supporting Third Parties and managing Third Party Risk.
