Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant I to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. The Accountant I will be responsible for performing account reconciliations, collaborating with payroll and accounting teams, and supporting general financial operations as we grow.

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with AR and AP teams for timely processing of bond and rent payments.
  • Process reimbursements for boot and wellness programs.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports.
  • Provide support across Finance departments and serve as backup to key team members.
  • Maintain organized financial records and generate reports as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of general and cost accounting, with adherence to GAAP.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office, on computers and other electronic devices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be a self-starter, highly organized, and creative.
  • Superior time management and organizational capabilities, including the ability to accurately benchmark project length, deliver on deadlines.
