We are looking for an experienced Public Sector Sales Director to join our growing team in Turkey, focused on expanding our presence in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the sales strategy to expand D Tech Cloud’s market share in the public sector particularly in the healthcare and education fields across Turkey, focusing on key industries and business verticals.
  • Build and manage relationships with high-level executives, decision-makers, and strategic partners in the public sector, positioning D Tech Cloud as a trusted datacenter, cloud, cloud security, AI and partner for digital transformation.
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify new business opportunities, while deepening relationships with existing clients to drive growth and revenue.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team. Provide ongoing coaching, support, and development to ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds their sales targets. Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration while promoting a result-driven environment.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and technical departments, to ensure the successful delivery of customer-centric cloud solutions.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends, regulations, and challenges in healthcare, education, and the public sector. Leverage this knowledge to position the company as a thought leader and trusted partner in cloud solutions, datacenter services, cloud security, and AI technologies.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and track performance against sales goals. Report regularly to senior leadership on key metrics, opportunities, and challenges within the healthcare and education sectors.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years of experience managing and leading sales teams focused on the public sector, particularly in healthcare and education. Proven experience in selling cloud solutions, datacenter technologies, cloud security, and AI services is a must.
  • Strong experience and understanding of the healthcare and education sectors landscape in Turkey, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build long-term business relationships.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cloud technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), cloud security frameworks, datacenter solutions, and AI applications, specifically in healthcare and education environments.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales targets and closing large, complex deals, particularly in the public sector, healthcare, and education verticals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior decision-makers and executives in healthcare and education.
  • Strong analytical mindset, results-oriented, and capable of developing actionable sales strategies based on market data and customer insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Turkey, including visits to client sites and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field. An MBA or higher qualification would be an advantage.
  • Experience with government contracting, healthcare IT, or educational technology solutions.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or security frameworks (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+) would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA) and compliance standards in healthcare and education.
