Job Description
Investment evaluations a. To filter and evaluate investment proposals based on investment strategies and approaches developed b. To work on financial assessments (modeling), fundamental analyses and coordinate due diligence activities c. To help prepare Investment Proposal papers for Investment Committee
Post-investment monitoring, reporting and divestment a. To support the team in monitoring and managing existing and new investments b. To prepare periodic investment management and monitoring reports and reviews c. To support team in divestment related work tracks and activities
Development of investment strategy a. To assist in the development of investment strategies and approach for private investments in target geographies b. To help plan and carry out sector-based and theme-based coverage activities across EMEA target markets for deal sourcing and relationship developments
External Engagement a. Participate in coverage trips in order to build and maintain meaningful network of relationships with business partners, advisors and intermediaries across markets b. To monitor market and industry developments for deal sourcing opportunities c. To support team in maintaining CRM database of contacts and coverage notes
Other Responsibilities a. To provide support in administrative work tracks of the office b. To collaborate with other relevant Investment sector and geography teams on private investment deals, and facilitate sharing of research or insights with the wider Investments division
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Private Equity (PE) Associate' should have:
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Knowledge of investment strategies, due diligence process and portfolio management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Understanding of the financial services industry and market dynamics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
