We are looking for a Packaging and Automation Supervisor to join our Supply Chain team.

Responsibilities

  • Track performance in packaging line.
  • Lead effective change management.
  • Support and organize packaging process improvements.
  • Participate in new line, packaging machine, and automation commissioning.
  • Engage in new global projects and commissioning for packaging lines.
  • Lead line capacity increase projects.
  • Conduct performance gap analysis for packaging line.
  • Lead and report the Packaging IPS Global/Internal audits and take actions for continuous improvements.
  • Communicate with the MOS (Manufacturing Operations Support) team for reporting packaging KPIs, Internal IPS, and sharing best practices.
  • Lead line quality, safety, and improvement projects.
  • Define and plan all packaging line needs for responsibility.
  • Support shifts to meet customer demands on time and produce the required tonnage by providing line technical capability.
  • Support R&D for new product trials and launches.
  • Manage and support the lean agenda of the plant.
  • Report downtime, maintenance costs, and project KPIs.
  • Provide technical expertise to other TR snacks sites for packaging line.
  • Conduct technical training for production operators to increase capability.
  • Track packaging operators team performance and implement improvement actions when necessary.
  • Take responsibility for the plant's OPEX and CAPEX agenda, including CAPEX writing and expense following.
  • Organize root cause analysis sessions for the team to eliminate downtimes, AIB, and safety problems.
  • Support lean six sigma projects.
  • Participate in hourly, daily, and weekly QCDM meetings to improve line KPIs and workflow capabilities.
  • Follow up on 30% MOH budgets and ensure spending meets targets.
  • Follow up on utilities and take actions with the maintenance team.
  • Ensure legal controls of lifting equipment are followed.
  • Manage and follow up on operation supplies stock level of packaging parts.
  • Manage and follow up on TE & NE for packaging line.
  • Address packaging line reliability issues.
  • Collaborate with QC for quality issues and CQA actions.
  • Attend monthly Food Safety and Quality meetings and follow up on meeting actions in responsible areas.
  • Ensure food safety and people safety on the packaging line.
  • Report problems regarding AIB, FSSC, GMP, Product Safety, Hygiene, and Food Defense to responsible persons.
  • Attend monthly H&S meetings and follow up on meeting actions in responsible areas.
  • Ensure necessary actions are taken to maintain and improve the GEHSMS and ISO 14001, Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001, Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • Create and collect weekly bright spot/hot spot reports for all plants.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Materials, Electrical, or Electronic engineering, etc.).
  • Fluency in both Turkish and English is required.
  • Experience in CAPEX.
  • High level of standard work implementations.
  • 2-5 years of relevant functional experience is an asset.
  • A proactive self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage complexity effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills: written, oral, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize design projects and personnel; demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and employ effective time management skills.
  • Open to new ideas and innovation-focused.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level in MS Office applications.
