Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Standards Management:

  • Establish and maintain brand standards for retail and franchise stores, ensuring alignment with corporate identity and market expectations.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and product teams to create effective in-store visual merchandising guidelines that enhance product visibility and consumer appeal.

Store Openings:

  • Lead the planning and execution of new store openings, including layout design, store configuration, and operational readiness for both domestic retail stores and international franchise locations.
  • Develop and manage budgets for store openings, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to financial targets.

Seasonal Campaigns and Launches:

  • Create and implement annual seasonal trade marketing plans tailored to market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Oversee the launch of new seasonal collections, coordinating promotional strategies and in-store events.

Concept Development:

  • Innovate and develop concepts for in-store promotions and marketing initiatives that enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and execution across all marketing channels.

Visual Presentation and Layout Design:

  • Design and implement visual presentation and store layout standards that cater to different formats and customer segments.
  • Train store personnel on effective product presentation and visual merchandising techniques to optimize sales.

Collaboration with Franchise Partners:

  • Collaborate with franchise partners to develop tailored marketing strategies and visual merchandising plans that resonate with local markets.
  • Provide guidance and support for franchisees on store layouts and opening strategies to ensure brand consistency and success.

Wholesale and Sales Conferences:

  • Organize and prepare for wholesale sell-in conferences, ensuring all promotional materials, presentations, and product displays reflect brand standards and marketing objectives.
  • Develop and manage showroom setups to effectively showcase products for wholesale buyers, creating a compelling and engaging environment.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and oversee budgets for trade marketing activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across all initiatives.
  • Monitor spending and analyze financial performance to implement cost-saving measures.

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and store performance metrics to assess ROI and inform future strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Industry-Specific Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on retail trends, competitive activities, and consumer preferences to adapt strategies effectively.
  • Utilize best practices in trade marketing and visual merchandising to enhance brand presence and drive sales growth.
  • Leverage digital tools and analytics to optimize marketing efforts and improve customer engagement.

Management of Visual Merchandising and Trade Marketing Teams:

  • Oversee the visual merchandising (VM) and trade marketing teams, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.
  • Develop weekly work plans for the teams and monitor progress, ensuring tasks are tracked and completed efficiently.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven retail experience
  • Experience in VM positions
  • Experience in Trade Marketing positions
  • Fluent in English
